Juan del Vado y Gomez (1625–1691) was a Spanish composer, organist〔Hudson, Barton (1961), ''A Portuguese Source of Seventeenth-Century Iberian Organ Music'', Doutoramento, Indiana, Universidade do Indiana, Policopiado.〕 and violinist.〔The new Grove dictionary of music and musicians: Vol.26 Stanley Sadie, John Tyrrell - 2001〕 He is noted for the enigmatic canons, symbolic musical puzzles, dedicated to his king Charles II of Spain.〔Craig M.
